NOTICE OF RACE

Windycrest Sailing Club

Fall Regatta

Saturday, November 13 – Sunday, November 14

PARTICIPATION: Fall is in the air, enjoy the colors of the season and have some fun on

beautiful Lake Keystone. This regatta is open to all classes and all are invited to participate. It’s

still warm, the lake level is very good, and the wind is crisp, so come enjoy a day of racing on the

lake.

LOCATION: Racing will be held at WSC on Keystone Lake, Oklahoma.

SCHEDULE of EVENTS:

Saturday, November 13:

10:55 am - Skipper’s Meeting in the WSC pavilion.

11:55 am - First Signal.

05:30 pm - Potluck Dinner with all the fixin’s after races. Don’t be a

turkey, come celebrate the season!

Saturday, November 14:

11:55 am - First Signal.

RACES: It is anticipated that there will be at least four (4), and no more than eight (8) races in

the regatta. No race will start after 4:00 pm.

AWARDS: Awards will be presented for the following classes as represented: Keelboat Spin,

Keelboat Non-Spin, Centerboard.

RULES: This event will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2021-2024,

prescriptions of US Sailing, the 2021-2022 Windycrest Sailing Club (WSC) Sailing Instructions,

and further instructions as announced by the PRO/Race Committee during the event.

SCORING: The event will be scored under the Low Point System described in the Racing

Rules of Sailing Appendix A. For each 4 races sailed, a boat’s worst score will be excluded.

Boats will be scored based upon Portsmouth Yardstick Handicap System as administered by

WSC.
